Not your ordinary apple pie

First, things first. I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Michelle and I’m a mother of 6. Yes, you read that correctly. 6 kids and no I didn’t buy them off Ebay.  I had my first child when I was very young and my last one was a surprise. I’m twice divorced and engaged to a great guy, who happily took on my posse. I’m also a college student. Say What???!!! How can I handle being a mom, a girlfriend and soon to be wife, a college course load, and everything in between? Well because I’m awesome that’s why!

As you can probably guess, this is no ordinary blog. Not one bit. To my kids and soon to be hubby, I’m perfect, to myself, not so much. I’m definitely not a mom who bakes apple pies and sweet little cookies, all in a cute dress and high heels. Haha… No effing way. Sure I bake and cook. I think I’m pretty damn good but sometimes, a mom just has to throw a pizza in the oven and call it a day.

This blog is about my life as a mom, wife, college student and everything in between. I suffer from Dysthymia, mild OCD, Anxiety, Asthma and Food/ seasonal Alllergies. Oh the stories I could tell you about all I suffer from. I’ll talk about conversations I have with my kids and fiancee. To be honest, if it’s something I find interesting or need to vent, no matter who I had the conversation with, I’m going to talk about it. You might see me post about trying a new recipe out and most likely how my family reacted to it. Organization skills are a must have. Well I’m not creative in the least, and most of my organization ideas are from Pinterest. Damn I love that page! You will see me succeed and fail at various things, and you know what, that’s ok. I’m not perfect. I’m doing my personal best to raise my kids right, love my kids/fiance’/ family indefinitely, and succeed in whatever life hands me.

I really hope you will follow me on my journey of ups, downs and in betweens. You might laugh, cry, and possibly get angry.. but I found that reading what other people are going through is kind of a stress reliever. I’d rather have more funny moments, than sad though.  Hopefully whoever is reading can relate to my life’s journey. This is my story and welcome to my page.

Best wishes, Michelle
